A team of ECE faculty, Profs. Burleson, Xia, Goeckel and Lorenzo have started a new research project funded by the Army Research Lab on Cognitive Distributed Sensing in Congested Radio Frequency Environments. The work involves new algorithms, circuits, machine learning and security mechanisms to communicate wirelessly in the presence of adversaries. The project is part of a larger 4 year program totaling more than $40M led by the Kostas Research Institute associated with Northeastern University.
