Dean Laura Haas and Professor Brian Levine, director of the UMass Amherst Cybersecurity Institute, hosted Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell for a discussion and tour of the Digital Evidence Lab. A partnership between the Cybersecurity Institute, the Attorney General's Office, and the Office of the Northwestern District Attorney, the lab is staffed by student interns who gain real world experience in digital forensics while working under the mentorship of professional digital forensics examiners. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation.
